In the early '90s, when dance music was taking root inJapan, Tanaka started his DJ career spinning techno in Osaka. After launching Sundance in the early 2000s and putting out his own work (as well as collaborations with Ricardo Villalobos and Thomas Melchior) Tanaka moved to Berlin and has since become one of House and Techno’s most prolific and exceptional talents, playing for seminal parties such as Get Perlonized and his own Chaos, and releasing on countless cult labels under various monikers. With a deadly understanding of floor-orientated groove and an appreciation for minimalism like very few, we just had to invite him to the L+L for a Saturday evening alongside resident Andre King.
